Third Party Performance Testing

The oils and refrigerants that are present in your air conditioning system are complex chemical compounds. It is critical that ICE 22 -- or any lubricant for that matter -- can work cohesively with these complex chemicals. As a result, ICE 22 is itself a complex chemical, but it takes a lot of research, development and testing to make sure that ICE 22 does not harm the air conditioner in any way.

Anybody can conduct their own tests, but fortunately, there are several engineering and standards organizations that have developed rigorous, industry-standard tests to ensure that products like ICE 22 are, in fact, safe and do what they claim to do.

In an effort to prove the safety and benefits of the system, the manufacturer of ICE 22, subjected ICE 22 to a series of independent tests. These tests represent the most critical aspects of the lubricant as it impacts your air conditioner – the ability to not negatively impact the refrigerant and oil, the ability to increase heat transfer, the ability to reduce wear and tear.

Listed below is a sample of the tests performed and their results.
